About me
John P. Moglia was born in the year 1965 in the city of Chelmsford, which is located in England. His family had relocated there the year before due to his father taking a job in the area. A year after his birth, his family made the move back to Michigan where they had originally lived. After completing his high school education at Lahser High School in Bloomfield Township, Michigan, in 1984, he continued his education at Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1989. His studies and interests led him into the area of public school teaching. His concentration during the undergraduate portion of his education was on studio art, specifically printing and ceramics.
Millersville University of Pennsylvania granted him a teaching credential, making him eligible to instruct art to students in schools ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade. After gaining a decade of experience as a teacher, he went back to school to acquire a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University in the year 2000. This was after he had already completed his undergraduate degree.
